All Star Brandon Duffy Sets the Pace
The Ducks came out strong last night, taking the first game in the best of seven series by a score of 9-3.The Ducks were led by Brandon Duffy with 2 goals and 2 assists. Also scoring for the Ducks were Nic Jessome, Jake Bullen, Andrew Bellefontaine, Doug Hore, Scott Bowness, Mitch Coady and Jon Jessome. Nic Jessome and Doug Hore also added a pair of assists each.
The action moves to St. Margaret’s Centre at 7 PM tonight as the Ducks and Royals continue the series. Look for the Royals to come out harder than yesterday, and look for another fine performance from the Ducks.
In other news, three Bay Ducks made it to the 1st All Star Team for the Fred Fox Division. These were Brandon Duffy, Andrew Bellefontaine and Doug Hore. Congratulations to them on fine performances this year justifying that honour.
