A loss by Brookfield against Cumberland on Friday was all that was required to make the Ducks Fred Fox Division champs. The Ducks didn't slow down though, handing Sackville a 7-2 drubbing at St. Margaret's Centre before the biggest crowd of the season on Saturday night.The Ducks were led by Nic Jessome and Scott Bowness with a pair each while singles went to Mitch Coady, Doug Hore and Tyler MacDonald. Mark Blanchard chipped in with three assists on the night. Scott Bowness took away the Subway 1
st Game Star, with 2
nd going to Nic Jessome and 3
rd to Tyler MacDonald. The was Bowness' second consecutive game with 2 goals against Sackville.
The Ducks (24-6-1) have just three games left in the regular season. Next Saturday (February 13th) they entertain the 2nd place Elks at St. Margaret's Centre. The next day they visit Pictou, and the last regular season game is on February 21 in Windsor. Playoff dates will be announced here shortly (beggining the week of February 22nd).
